How to Become a Google Local Guide
As we mentioned above, becoming a Google Local Guide is quick and easy. All you need to do is sign up with your Google account—you can use either your personal account or create a new one specifically for this purpose. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll start earning points every time you contribute reviews, photos, or other information to Google Maps. You can also join meetups and events organized by other Local Guides in your area.
There are four levels of the Local Guides program, each with its own perks:
