Google My Business (GMB) is a free service that allows you to create a profile for your business on Google Search, Maps, and other Google products. It also helps customers find your business when searching for local services.
Set up your business listing.
You can set up your GMB account by going to https://mybusiness.google.com/create. Once you’ve signed into your Google Account, click “Create a new listing” at the top right corner of the screen.
If you want to set up your own GMB account, here’s what you’ll need to know. You must be at least 18 years old, and you must live in the United States. Once you’ve created your account, you’ll need to upload a photo of yourself, your logo, and information about your business. You can add multiple locations if you’d like.
Add photos and other details.
After you’ve added your business name, address, phone number, website URL, and any other relevant information, you’ll see a list of categories. Click on the category you want to add your business to. If you haven’t heard of GMB before, it’s easy to set up. You simply enter your information into the form provided and then add photos, descriptions, and contact info. Once you’ve finished adding everything, you’ll be able to access your account from anywhere at anytime.
Connect with local customers.
If you own a restaurant, bar, salon, or other service-based business, chances are good that people will visit your establishment based on its location. That means you’re likely to attract new customers who live nearby. So make sure your business has a Google My Business profile so potential customers can find out where you are located.

A website is one of the easiest ways to promote your business online. It allows you to share photos, descriptions, contact details, and more with visitors. Plus, it gives you a place to collect reviews from previous clients.
